Young Bowling Club retained the 2LF Cup when they defeated Cowra last weekend. Both Clubs won four games each, however Young scored 193 shots to Cowra’s 173 to run out the winners. The winning rinks for each Club were Gerard Beath, Graham Amery, Mark Hubber and Shane Egan for Cowra, whilst Bob Ruhl, Brian Madden, Cliff Traynor and George Sommerville were successful for Young. Cowra players will have to wait 12 months to hopefully get their revenge when the event will be hosted by Young Bowling Club.
