Facilitated by The Corridor Project, the weekend interweaves four significant local histories, Devonian, First Nations, Agricultural and Bushranger into a multi art-form event.
From 2015 to 2018 the communities of Canowindra, Cowra and Grenfell have shared their stories, leading to a significant compilation of documented, oral histories which reflect a rich variety of viewpoints.
Curator Phoebe Cowdery said the event will create a legacy of innovative material developed for public interest for the Canowindra, Cowra, Grenfell Historical Societies and Museums, the Age of Fishes Museum, Blind Freddies Bushranger tours and the National Sound Archives Canberra.
Ms Cowdery thanked the community for the immense support given to the project, the participating artists and the production team.
She also thanked Office of Environment and Heritage - Heritage Near Me, Create NSW, Arts Out West, Cabonne Council, Canowindra Historical Society and Museum and the Age of Fishes Museum for partnering the project.
Projections, demonstrations, music, visual art and performances will be running throughout the weekend at the Canowindra Railway Precinct next to the Age of Fishes Museum.
