Cowra Shire Council’s general committee last week recommended the council provide financial assistance to establish the hub.
The recommendation will now go to council’s meeting later this month.
The business chamber is seeking $58,000 in funding for a two year period to assist with lease and utility payments.
Council put the proposal to provide the funding on public exhibition but received no comment, acting Council general manager Dirk Wymer told the committee meeting.
Councillor Bruce Miller told the meeting council is "comfortable this will be a good use of ratepayers money”.
Cr Kevin Wright added: “(the project) has been well thought out and we certainly need it”.
The Hub intends on supporting three main programs, the Cowra Business Accelerator, Cowra Business Incubator and the Cowra Employee UpSkill Program.
