A Cowra man accused of a string of break and enter offences appeared upset with proceedings when his solicitor told Cowra Local Court on Thursday that he would not be applying for bail for his client.

Aaron James Newton, 33, of Ranken Street, Cowra was making his second appearance in court this week.
Newton’s matters were mentioned briefly before Magistrate Cate Follent in the Bathurst Local Court on Wednesday where he was refused bail to re-appear in Cowra Local Court on Thursday.
Newton shook his head when solicitor Geoff Casey told Cowra Local Court he was not applying for bail.
Mr Casey instead asked the court for the Newton’s matters to be adjourned until November 7, 2018.
Newton is facing numerous charges including; enter dwelling and commit indictable offence, break and enter with intent to commit a serious indictable offence, break enter and steal, enter land with intent to commit an indictable offence, custody of a knife in a public place, possession of house breaking implements and possession of an unregistered firearm.
It is alleged the thefts occurred during separate break ins.
At Dawson Drive, Cowra in September, when it is alleged he stole a TV and jewellery with a total value up to $10,000.
On October 2, 2018, it is alleged he broke into a property on Commelia Road, Cowra and stole a Nikon camera, a safe with jewellery contained inside, WW II medals and a WW II service revolver with a total estimated value of $20,000.
He was also charged in relation to allegedly entering land on October 7, 2018 at a business premises on North Logan Road, stealing a cold drink vending machine, and a property on Commelia Road where he stole two green metal fuel cans.
Police further allege on October 9, 2018, at 1.30am in Pridham Street Cowra he had a knife in a public place and was in possession of house breaking implements, and on October 2, 2018, at Cowra he was also in possession of a firearm, which was not registered, a WW II service revolver.
