There will be workshops and demonstrations using tablets, laptops or mobile phones. Come and try one new thing like make a call using Skype, searching for tips and tricks, get directions using online maps, watch movies on Kanopy.
The library will also hold a ‘King Arthur Fact or Fiction?” presentation on Tuesday, October 30 at 2pm.
Dr Carmel Bendon is a writer, academic and presenter on all things medieval. She has a PhD in Medieval Literature and a 1st Class honours in Early English, both from Macquarie University where she was a lecturer in English Literature.
She will use her medieval expertise to talk about King Arthur. Was there once really a King Arthur? A Guinevere? A Camelot? A round table? Let's untangle the knots of legend and historical fact, and enjoy stories of knights, chivalry and great feats in the process.
Book your place for these events online through Eventbrite or call the Library on 6340 2180.
