Police from Bankstown highway patrol on deployment to Bathurst 1000 races stopped the male driver on Campbell Street Cowra for a breath test.
The male provided a positive alcohol sample and was arrested and taken to a secondary test site.
The male provided a positive alcohol reading of 0.186.
The male’s licence was suspended on the spot and he was charged with high range prescribed concentration of alcohol and is set to face Cowra local court at a later date.
