A 21-year-old Cowra man has been given a Conditional Release Order for nine months and disqualified from driving for three months at Cowra Local Court.

Jumara Cutmore of Pridham Street Cowra was before the court changed with never licensed person drive vehicle on road.
According to police facts, around 11:30pm on June 3, 2018, police observed a Ford Falcon heading south on Redfern St, Cowra, traveling in excess of the signposted 50km/h speed limit.
The vehicle then turned into Myall Street before stopping outside a residence in Wellington Street.
Police say Cutmore entered the premises only to return seconds later and said “Yeah I f***ed up, I know. I was just driving them to the Aussie.”
Police say Cutmore admitted to being the driver and panicked when he saw police, as he knew he was unlicensed.
Cutmore stated he had two intoxicated passengers in the vehicle.
Mr Cutmore’s solicitor, Mr Song, said his client had gone through a number of personal issues, including surgery and a relationship break up.
“Mr Cutmore has largely turned his life around,” Mr Song claimed.

“He has largely moved on from his offending behaviour, it’s not an extensive record.”
Mr Song said Mr Cutmore was also in the process of attempting to get a licence.
“He has made attempts but has not been successful,” Mr Song said.
“He’s since done a number of practice tests and is filling out the booklet… he’s applied himself to some degree.”
In sentencing, Magistrate Abdul-Karim said Cutmore took it upon himself to take the risk however noted that he showed remorse for his actions.
“It gave me some comfort to see you are trying to get your licence,” Mr Abdul-Karim said.
“You should not drive, you have exposed yourself to a six month jail sentence, I accept you were trying to help your friends but you are facing a significant penalty.”
As part of his sentence, Mr Cutmore will also undergo supervision by Community Correction to help him get a licence.
