In front of family, friends, teachers and fellow students, the group were presented with their Year 12 medals and certificates before one last lap of the assembly hall and a barbecue lunch.
In his newsletter report, Cowra High School Principal, Charles Gauci, said it was an opportunity to share memories of the students’ time at Cowra High School.
“Term 3 is always very significant, particularly for our senior students,” he said.
“This is the school’s opportunity to share some positive and often amusing memories of Year 12’s time at Cowra High.
“I always enjoy this assembly, it is always full a joy and warm feelings.”
Year 12 students will now be finalising preparations for their HSC exams, which will kick off on Monday, October 15.
“It is a great way to finish their final day in uniform before the pressure of the HSC exams and helps round off a week of good natured fun, with their final excursion on Friday,” Mr Gauci said.
“I know I am not speaking just for myself when I wish all Year 12 the very best for their exams.
“I look forward to seeing you at the Graduation Dinner afterwards.”
Two students, Jemma Pokoney and Jemima Sullivan, have already had HSC success, receiving a nomination for HSC Callback after their practical dance examination.
“Congratulations to all involved.”
Term 4 will commence on Monday, October 15.
