The Australian Federal Police (AFP) and New South Wales Police Force (NSWPF) yesterday located and recovered the children from the Cowra Show Ground.
This follows the location and recovery of another child in Henty, NSW. The trio has since been reunited with their mother.
The children had been missing since September 2017, with the Federal Circuit Court of Australia issuing a recovery order in August 2018.
Police also arrested a 40-year-old Queensland man on outstanding New South Wales and Queensland arrest warrants for unrelated matters.
The man appeared before Cowra Local Court on Thursday afternoon facing Section 25(2) warrants after failing to appear before the Maclean Local Court on January 13.
The warrants related to charges of driving a stolen vehicle and possessing property stolen outside of NSW.
His matter was adjourned to the Maclean Local Court on October 10 for a Section 4 annulment application.
At the completion of the man’s NSW matters Queensland Police Service may seek the man’s extradition to Queensland.
The AFP has reminded the public that anyone found to be providing support to an abducting parent may themselves be committing a serious offence.
A spokesperson said the AFP wanted to thank the public and media for their continued interest and support in the matter.
