The Central West Astronomical Society is hosting an evening of stargazing for the community at Cowra’s Holman Oval from 6pm until 9pm on Friday, September 14.
Society members will set up telescopes on the Oval for public viewing of the Moon, the Milky Way and the planets.
“Everyone is welcome to come along and take a look,” society member Tim Anderson said.
“There are amazing things to see through a telescope. Just now you can see Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars lined up across the sky.”
