Society members will set up telescopes on the Oval for public viewing of the Moon, the Milky Way and the planets.
“Everyone is welcome to come along and take a look,” society member Tim Anderson said.
“There are amazing things to see through a telescope. Just now you can see Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars lined up across the sky.”
