Thankyou to all the competitors who came and supported the show, without you there is no show. I would like to sincerely thank our Judges, Cai Thomas, Kellie Sloane, Samantha Watson and Beryl Gilshenan for donating their time and effort for the day, it was appreciated. They all did an amazing job. Thankyou also goes to Bruce Wright, Colin and Karen Brown, Jacqui Martin, Con Bunnik and Ken Skinner for their ongoing support in the horse rings. Last but certainly not least I would like to thank all the sponsors for their ongoing support of the horse events, it is genuinely appreciated.
Champion Stock Horse Hack and Champion Working Stock Horse classes were sponsored by Kiangarthur Stock Horse Stud and the Central West Branch of the ASH Society.
Champion Stock Horse Hack went to Amy Britt from Kurrajong. Champion Working Stock Horse went to Georgia Gamble’s mare ‘Playmore Clementine’ with ‘Peppertree Cassie’ ridden by local competitor Rob Van Dyke picking up Reserve Champion.
It was pleasing to see Clydesdale numbers increase at this years’ show, we hope to see these numbers continue to grow as these majestic gentle giants are loved by young and old alike. Thankyou to sponsors, Mr & Mrs Daryl Dean, Dowd Brothers Bus Service and McMurchie Clydesdales, your ongoing support is appreciated.
McMurchie Clydesdales from Mandurama had a successful day with their filly ‘McMurchie Nanette’ being awarded Champion Mare or Filly then going on to take out Supreme Champion Purebred Clydesdale. ‘McMurchie Monique’ took out Reserve Champion Mare or Filly.
