AN INVESTIGATION has commenced after 10 heavy lambs were stolen from a property west of Young.

Between 7pm on Friday and 2am on Saturday, the lambs were stolen from a rural property on James Street at Binya.
“The lambs are 10 month old, mixed sex comprising of white suffolk x SAMM (South African meat merino) breed,” NSW Police rural crime Inspector Cameron Whiteside said.
“The lambs contain a white NLIS ear tag PIC# NK440209 and SERGROW on the underside of the tag.
“The lambs contain three-months of wool on them.”
Inspector Whiteside has urged anyone with any information that will assist in this matter to contact the Murrumbidgee Rural Crime Investigator on 6969 4299.
