School Principal Sue Clark, said it was fantastic to have the students taking part in the day and have Bunnings visit.
“The grounds are looking spectacular,” she said.
“Last time the Bunnings team was here, they planted the back and sides of the school and now they’re planting the butterfly garden.
“The kids love being outside in the garden and making our grounds beautiful. We really appreciate Bunnings support in helping us with that,” she said.
Bunnings team member, Nikki Burton, said the team loved visiting the regions schools.

“These kids love getting out in the garden, they are one of the most keen schools to get outside with us,” she said.
The students, with the help of the Bunnings team, planted a collection of native plants, that were requested by the school.
Ms Clark said the native plants assisted the students current learning.
“Our unit this term is all about environmental change and looking after our country,” she said.
“Caring for the environment is very important and is embedded in a lot of our learning here.
“Schools Tree Day builds on our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program, so the students are doing lots of gardening and learning about the environment at the moment,” she said.
