A 20-year-old Orange man has been fined $600, disqualified from driving for eight months and ordered to enter into a good behaviour bond for two months at Cowra Local Court.

Johnson Robert James Mills of Cecil Road, Orange, was before the court charged with driving with mid range PCA.
According to police facts, around 1.30am on April 14 Mills was driving along Rodd Street, Canowindra when he collided with a stationary vehicle.
The force of the collision forced the vehicle five metres up the road and onto the nature strip. Mills was forced to stop in the middle of the road with extensive damage to his vehicle.
Both police and ambulance arrived and Mills was taken to the Canowindra hospital. While there a sample of his blood was taken for analysis by the NSW Health Pathology, Forensic and Analytical Service.
The sample was analysed to have 0.149 grams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
On May 16 Mills attended the Cowra Police Station, admitting he was the driver on the night and could not recall the collision, only waking up in the Canowindra Hospital.
Mills’ solicitor Clive Hill told the court that Mills had no intention of driving that night as he was only a walking distance from his home but had stupidly offered to drive a friend home.
In sentencing Mills, Magistrate Michael O’Brien said he was very lucky to be before the court at all.
“You are very fortunate to be here at all, you could have very well come across my desk as a coronial file,” he said.
“The good news is you lived to tell the tale, it could have been quite different, your parents could have gotten a knock on the door saying you were never coming home.”
