Results last week went the way of the Magpies who leapfrogged Orange Hawks into minor premiership favouritism.
With one round to go ahead of the Group 10 finals series, Sutton’s urging his players to not waste their chance.
The Magpies travel to Tony Luchetti Sportsground on Sunday to take on a battling Lithgow Workies who have no chance of playing finals footy .
“If we can’t get up for this one we don’t deserve to be minor premiers,” Sutton said.
“They have have nothing to lose. But on the toss of a coin they have nothing to play for and we have everything to play for.”

Excitement surrounding the club is building and talks of possible outcomes were “quickly put to bed” after last week’s win.
Sutton knows they’re only two wins away from hosting the grand final, but he said the focus is purely on this week’s clash against Lithgow.
The club in 2014 hosted the Group 10 deciders and Sutton was coach.
“We’ll worry about that when it comes around. We’re in good shape, all the players are in the right frame of mind and there’s plenty of excitement at the club,” he said.
While things are certainly falling into place at the right time for the black and whites, Sutton believes there’s improvement in his squad.
John Grant has only played two games off the bench, but last week showed how damaging he can be making huge metres out of the Magpies’ end, while forward Travis Wanninara is also making his presence felt.
Cowra takes on Workies at Lithgow on Sunday at 2pm.
