Senior Local Land Services officer Phil Cranney is hosting a workshop for farmers in Canowindra on Monday, August 13.

Starting next week Central Tablelands Local Land Services will be holding seven Seasonal Conditions workshops across the region.

The first of the workshops will be held in Canowindra at the Canowindra Services Club starting at 2pm on Monday, August 13.

“As conditions have deteriorated, Local Lands Services is increasing its response and while it’s not for a great reason, we want to see strong turnouts at these events,” Senior Local Land Services officer Phil Cranney said.

“We will have veterinarians, livestock and pasture experts there for producers who want advice on management decisions.”

The workshops are part of Local Land Services efforts to make it easier for landholders to have face-to-face interaction with staff.

Topics include animal health, financial implications of decisions and management options. To book go to http://bit.ly/Canowindra
