Volunteers and stewards have also been kept busy, setting up the Cowra Showground Pavilion, organising the wines and washing glasses in an effort to make the judges’ jobs as easy as possible.
This year’s ASVWS has seen more entries than in previous years, with 150 more entries compared to last year.
The Exhibitors’ Tasting took place yesterday afternoon, completing a week of tough decisions.
The week will culminate with the Cowra Wine Show Public Tasting at the Showground Pavilion on Saturday, July 14.
"You don’t have to know a lot about wine to enjoy the Public Tasting. One thing people keep telling me every year is they go home with a newfound knowledge and appreciation for wine and the wine industry. It’s also a lot of fun," Cowra Wine Show chair Jenni Fagan said.
