Nominations out for Saturday’s meeting

Cowra Jockey Club has received 111 nominations for its meeting on Saturday afternoon.

A massive 27 horses have had their names put forward for the Maiden Plate over 1200m, while 25 are nominated for the Maiden Handicap (950m).

Danny Parsons, George Hoy, Andrew Molloy and Ken Parsons are some of the Cowra trainers to have entered horses from their stables and will be looking for some luck at their home track.

The Jockey Club’s meeting last month saw Danny Parsons score a win with his horse Agrovation who is nominated in the Benchmark 50 Handicap.

There’s six races on the program this Saturday with acceptances to be released on Thursday morning.
