Motorists in Cowra were forced from using the low level bridge on Saturday morning after a Mitsubishi Triton rolled into the Lachlan River.

The vehicle was travelling east along the bridge when it left the roadway and flipped onto its side and into the river about 11.15am.
The male driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, managed to free himself without injury.
Acting captain of the Cowra Fire Brigade Brenton Carter said the firies were concerned about a potential oil leak during the process of freeing of the vehicle which took about and hour and a half.
One of the brigade members steered the vehicle as it was towed through the waterway and out the western riverbank.
No police action has been taken, Inspector Adam Beard said.
