A mufti day with a gold coin donation from each student helped make the school’s donation reach over $400.
St Raphael's Administration Coordinator, David Lette, said the school was happy to support the Red Shield Appeal.
“We like to support the Salvation Army for everything it does in our community,” he said.
Major Cathryn Williamson was presented the money from school captains Aiden Roberts, Grace Gallagher and vice captains Orlando Perry and Kaitlyn Rutledge.
Major Williamson said she was very appreciative of the school’s donation.
“This will bring the Cowra appeal to almost $10,200 raised.
Donations can still be given at the Cowra Salvation Army Family Store,” she said.
