Dancing Sections of the Cowra Eisteddfod commence this weekend, with the Dance Groups on Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27.

Saturday will have four sessions 8:30 and 11:30am followed by 2:30 and 5:30pm, and will involve all groups from 5 and under to 12yrs and under.
Session admission will be $5 per session or $18 for a Day Ticket.
Sunday, May 27 will involve groups for the older student from 14yrs and under to Open.
There will be three sessions on Sunday 8:30 and 11:30 am with the final session commencing at 3pm.
Session tickets again $5 with the Day Ticket for $13.
Get there early to ensure you do not miss any of this great weekend of entertainment.
Darling Street in front of the Civic Centre will be closed for the weekend, and BBQ breakfast and lunch will be available.
The Dancing Sections will then continue throughout the next week, from Monday, May 28 which will feature all the young dancer’s from five years to eight years, with the very popular Babies Dance in the 2pm Session.
Tuesday, May 29 will feature the 10yr olds in all styles of dance.
The 2pm Session will feature the School Dance Groups, with entries from all three Cowra Primary Schools as well as from Canowindra.
High School Dance Groups will be held in the 2pm Session on Thursday May 31 with both Cowra High Schools represented.
Twelve year old dance solos will commence on Wednesday, May 30.
May and continue until Friday morning when the senior dancers will commence. The weekend of June 1, June 2 and June 3 will be packed with talent from all over NSW and ACT. With both the Fitzroy St Physiotherapy Ballet Scholarship and the Classical Dance Centre Deakin Dance Scholarships being decided.
Make sure you get to the Civic Centre as often as you can over this next week to enjoy the talent that will be competing.

Reserved Seating for the Annual Concert of Selected Major Prize Winners are now on sale at the Civic Centre during the eisteddfod Sessions. Tickets are just $14 Adult and $10 Pensioner/Child.
Tickets will also be on sale at the door on Concert Night - Friday, June 8.
