The Cowra Eisteddfod continues this weekend with the senior Dancing Sections.
The 14yrs and under and Open age sections for solos, duo/trios, Championships in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and National Character will all be held on Friday – Saturday and Sunday.
The Sunday afternoon session, starting at 2pm, will feature the Fitzroy Street Physiotherapy Ballet Scholarship – as well as the Dance Scholarship sponsored by the Classical Dance Centre Deakin.
Dancers from many parts of the state will be featured in these sections, and you can be part of the audience at any time for just $6 per session.
Monday, June 4, will see the start of the Instrumental sections. These will include sections for Piano, String, Percussion and Woodwind Instruments.
School Bands and the popular School Percussion Groups will be competing on Wednesday, June 6 in the 9:30am Session.
Tickets with reserved seating for the Grand Concert of selected Prizewinners, are still available at the Civic Centre during the eisteddfod sessions.
Adult $14 and Child/Pensioner $10.
Tickets for the Concert, which starts at 7pm on Friday, June 8, will also be available at the door on the night.
