Cowra’s Shannon Boyd notched his 100th NRL appearance on Mother’s Day at Canberra’s GIO Stadium, while rumours still circle the prop’s future after he knocked back a three-year extension with the green machine.

Boyd’s made all 100 NRL appearances for the Canberra Raiders since debuting as a 21-year-old in 2014.

Gold Coast Titans coach Garth Brennan has admitted his interest in Boyd, the four-time Kangaroo is linked to a deal worth $600,000 with the Queensland club.

Boyd’s 100 game milestone was marred by the Raiders suffering a 24-16 round 10 defeat at the hands of the Cronulla Sharks.
