This month’s Social Morning tea at Ruze Café was another happy occasion when members from different groups are able to meet.

The Wednesday artists have had some works displayed in the Visitor’s Centre, and the Monday artists will replace them with a new exhibition which will remain in place until the end of May.

The spinners are enjoying an exciting time with two of our spinners attending a farmers market at Mt Hope several weeks ago. They were asked by the craft group from Hillston to give them a demonstration of peg loom rug making plus do a spinning display at the their annual show late in the year.

A couple of the spinners attended the spinning weekend at Neville and learnt more about dyeing fibre, and more recently, some of the group attended the Orange Fibre muster and learnt some different things and got new ideas.

The quilting and craft groups are working steadily along as usual with their various projects.

The next monthly general meeting will be Tuesday, May 22 at 2pm. For more information call 6342 6059.
