The monthly meeting of the Cowra CWA branch for April will be held on Thursday, April 19 at 11am.

The meeting is held in the Cowra Shire Council's multipurpose room which is located between the library and the Cowra Regional Art gallery.
Members are advised to bring a light lunch as a guest speaker will arrive at 12:30pm to talk on behalf of NSW Hearing.
Long-term member, Norma Power will be the Branch's delegate to the NSW Association’s AGM, to be held April 30 to May 5 at Armidale in the New England Grammar School, with a church service to be held on Sunday, April 29 at St Mary and Joseph Catholic Cathedral at 3:30pm.
The annual meeting is where delegates from all over in NSW converge to view entries in annual competitions such as the Land Newspaper cooking competition and a wide range of crafts.
Delegates also participate in serious business meetings regarding a wide range of issues, then to vote on those issues which become the policy of the Association from then on.
Ladies attending the meeting will also meet the NSW State Governor, who is the patron of the CWA of NSW.
The Southwest Group land cookery and handicraft day is just around the corner.
Please bring any items for perusal by our Handicraft Officer, new member Margaret Hennessy.
New members are always welcome.
