The Paul and Pamela Braddon trained superstar has been sidelined for about five months after suffering an injury while racing on a wet track at Bathurst in October.
A winner of 27 races from 46 starts, the son of El Grand Senor and Willow Blaze will feature in Saturday’s Koora Pub Flying Stakes (327m) at 2pm.
He’s only raced this track and distance once but he stopped the clock in a blistering 18.50s on that occasion.
Aiming to cause an upset will be kennelmate Zab’s Magic who has won at this track and distance four times.
He ran sixth in the $1000-to-the-winner Molly Harmer Memorial Final (330m) in Temora last weekend.
In with a chance is experienced Canowindra-based speedster Monster Black who has raced this distance 14 times at Cowra’s Sid Kallas Oval.
Rodney McDonald’s trained Janet Braddon Memorial winner Hippo Clan is also among the contenders.
The Braddons’ Marbo’s Magic became well known across greyhound racing in NSW when he went on a stunning 12-race winning streak beginning when he broke his maiden in a slick 25.83s over 450m at Bathurst’s Kennerson Park in December, 2015.
He won the Group 2 Maitland Gold Cup in April, 2016.
Racing starts from 1pm on Saturday.
