Adam Scott Slattery, who represented himself, was before the court charged with driving a motor vehicle while his licence was suspended.
According to police facts around 12.10pm on February 11, police were conducting mobile patrols of Canowindra when they stopped Slattery for a random breath test.
When asked for his licence he told police he didn’t have one, “It’s suspended due to fine default.”
Slattery told the court he was driving because he had an argument with his grandmother and forgot his licence was suspended, “I haven’t driven since and I don’t plan to until I get my licence back,” he said.
