The Cowra Stingrays will have a busy night tonight attempting to swim the distance from Brisbane to the Gold Coast as part of their Swimathon.
To celebrate the upcoming Commonwealth Games, the Cowra Stingrays swimmers are attempting to swim the distance from Brisbane to the Gold Coast on Tuesday night.

This is approximately 78kms or 1560 laps of the Cowra pool.
It will be a combined effort by all swimmers with each lap adding to the tally.
The community’s support is greatly appreciated during this event.
For every $10 raised you will receive a ticket in the raffle.
There’s great prizes to be won and drawn on the night.
Last year the swimmers aimed to swim 850 laps, which was the equivalent of 43kms or the distance from Parramatta to North Head.
