Cowra Magpies Rugby League Club's league tag side will begin preparations for the new season on Wednesday, when new coach Chris Baratto holds a training run at River Park.

The Magpies women have an eye on returning to the Group 10 finals for the first time since 2013, having slipped outside the top five in recent years.

Newly appointed coach Chris Baratto is encouraging any interested players to show their faces at River Park on Wednesday, with Baratto hoping to bolster the squad for 2018.

Anyone interested in playing league tag in 2018 is encouraged to come along.
