More than 260 swimmers have put their names down for this year’s carnival for a total of more than 1600 individual event entries.
Some swimmers are taking on up to 14 events.
On Saturday, November 18, the carnival starts at 5pm with the long distance events being held until late in the evening.
This is followed by a full day of racing on Sunday, November 19, with events beginning from 9am.
Competitors are coming from across the central west.
A barbecue will be operating from 8am on Sunday with all money raised being put back into the club.
The Cowra Aquatic Centre also has hot food and cold drinks.
The Stingrays has a large contingent of swimmers competing in this year’s carnival, with the youngest swimmer being only six years of age and the oldest being a young adult.
The Cowra Stingrays encourage the community to support its future Olympic champions and cheer them on during competition on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
“The committee and family members would like to wish the Cowra Stingrays all the very best,” committee member Matthew Miller said.
The Cowra Aquatic Centre will be closed to the public for swimming on Saturday from 5pm and all day Sunday whilst the carnival is being held.
Warm-up begins one hour prior to events starting on each day of competition.
