Cowra SES unit is hosting the Lachlan Region’s second Cube Challenge, following the first edition at Peak Hill in August, to give members of the public an insight into the type of work its members undertake.
Units from Forbes, Parkes, Peak Hill and Lake Cargelligo are expected to be in attendance, with the action starting from 9am.
Units will take part in four challenges throughout the course of four hours. Challenges will include tasks which SES members could face at any call out.
Cowra SES unit finished second at Peak Hill however won’t compete this Sunday.
Representatives from Grenfell SES and the region’s SES headquarters in Parkes are helping operate the event.
The event is open to the public, beginning at 9am.
