What a day, if ever there was near gale force winds then the Woodstock Show was the day. Nearly eighty horses in total entered the arena and all behaved remarkably well considering the appalling wind conditions. Many thanks to all the competitors who despite the inclement weather turned up and participated.

It was great to see a number of Clydesdales at this year’s show. The local McMurchie Clydesdales from Mandurama had a successful day with their Mare ‘McMurchie Kendall’ taking out first place in the Filly Under 3yrs class and going on to take out the Grand Champion sash on the day.
We can’t thank Sheila Bryant, Kerrie Rawson and Jaci Norris enough for standing out in awful weather conditions judging for most of the day, they did an amazing job and it’s lucky they didn’t get blown away.
Thankyou also goes to Bruce Wright and Ring Stewards John Hayes, Jacqui and Tony Martin, Con Bunnik and Ken Skinner for their support on the day.
Thank you to everyone that attended or supported the 2017 Woodstock Show and we look forward to better conditions next year.
