Also at that meeting, walks throughout August will be planned and notified soon after to those on our mailing list.
Recent walks
In July, Nangar again confounded us with dwindling track markings on Sunday, July 9 around the Chinaman's Garden track, led by Lesley and Doug.
Zig Zag on July 16 turned out a beautiful day for mid-winter in Lithgow to run the rails from Mt Sanai Halt to Bottom Points over those magnificent sandstone viaducts and through a tunnel, thanks Jan.
Upcoming walks
Coming up on July 30, is Weddin Mountains – Bow's Gully and Black Springs Mountain, a fairly strenuous all-day fire trail and possible scramble, led by Geoff, 9am from Visitor Centre.
Then on the August 6, Donna is leading a combined walk around the bush with an Anniversary Walk around our Prisoner of War Camp and relics, but leaving from Men's Shed at 9am – bring morning tea.
If you're interested, you will know someone in ULB to ask, or email to our address below.
Expressions of interest
Most Sunday walks leave the Cowra Visitor Information Centre at 9am.
Walkers are requested to contact the walk leaders a few days prior to the walk.
Membership is only $20 annually, covering Insurance and ULB affiliation with Bushwalking NSW.
Cars to walks are shared, as is the cost.
Non-members 18 or older are welcome along on three walks as guests before joining.
Email upperlachlanbushwalkers@outlook.com for your interest to be passed on and responded to.
