This event is usually held at the Cowra Services Club, however, the club can no longer host it due to an unsuitable dancefloor. The hall was magnificently decorated by David and Yvonne Antaw and attracted many comments for the tasteful and elegant presentation. Guests enjoyed a lovely meal served by the Club and danced to the father and daughter combination of Phil Redenbach and Ester Bruce from Parkes with many prizes of Canowindra wines won on the night.
The following day over half of the dancers, who stayed the night at Canowindra, gathered for the Recovery Dance at the Club with Phil and Ester and enjoyed dancing and a light meal, provided by locals, before returning home after such a fantastic weekend. The Cowra/Canowindra dancers were thrilled to be able to give $2040 to the Read Triplets of Canowindra with the proceeds.
