Former Australian Idol and award winning songstress Casey Donovan will show off her pipes once again at taste Canowindra on July 22 and 23.
“It was an evening both the audience (we had a full house) and staff at taste won’t forget,” Bob Craven, owner of taste Canowindra said on Donovan’s May 13 show earlier this year.
“It was just amazing, I mean not only is she a wonderful performer, she's a wonderful person.”
Bob said it’s great to see her back in the spotlight.
“She’s nailed it this year, her brilliant personality came through in the jungle, she had a knockout performance at Logies,” he said.
“Everything she touches at the moment turns to gold.”
Casey has two more shows at taste Canowindra after her first one sold out in 48 hours.
“We’ve booked out a show on July 22 and she's good enough to do an afternoon one on Sunday, July 23,” he said.
Casey Donovan is one of Australia’s most versatile Indigenous Entertainers.
After a meteoric rise to fame at the age of 16, Casey became the youngest ever winner of Australian Idol in 2004, and over the last twelve years has made her mark not only as a musician, but also in the areas of stage, screen, presenting and writing.
Casey is a multi-Award winner and nominee, including an ARIA No #1 Award for Listen with Your Heart and Deadly Awards for Best Album, Best Single and Most Promising New Talent.
After taking a break from music, Casey returned to the music arena with the release of her hotly anticipated single Big, Beautiful & Sexy.
As a result of this inspirational song, she not only garnered new fans Australia-wide, but also became a poster girl for fuller-figured women.
Casey took her Big, Beautiful & Sexy ethos further by touring in her own show, which has seen the remarkable singer perform to sell-out crowds at some of the country’s most coveted venues and participate in events such as Adelaide Festival, Brisbane Festival, The Rocks Festival of the Voice, Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute’s Spirit Festival, Darwin Festival and Yabun Festival.
Following a heart warming, engaging participation in “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Outta Here”, plus a knock out performance at The Logies, Casey’s star is on the rise again.
It’s great to have her back at taste Canowindra.
Only 14 tickets remain for this final show.
Tickets for the show are $80 which includes a three-course meal.
The performance will take place on 3pm Sunday, July 23.
