Kids had the opportunity to put their imaginations to the test and potentially enter their artworks into the competition in September, which revolves around the theme “Showtime”.
Artist Rebecca Bennett, who led the workshops on July 11 and 12, said the children had a great time creating mobiles.
“We’ve made bunting, we’ve done blanket stitches around bottles, we are working with the Showtime theme,” she said.
“We wanted to create a festive, happy atmosphere for the exhibition.”
More than 20 children attended Tuesday’s workshop and 16 kids went along on Wednesday.
“It’s been fun, children can create so much out of nothing,” Rebecca said.
“They have the most amazing imaginations.”
The RAFCA exhibition will be held on September 10.
