Now there is a new player in the Cowra LPG supply market Cowra Gas, locally owned and operated by Jason Smith and his wife Kelly, the pair are keen to pass savings onto their customers.

“I’ve been in the (LPG) industry for almost 20 years,” Jason said.

“The prices of gas at the moment gave us the motivation to kick off our own business. We source our gas directly from suppliers, we own or own bottles, we’re fully independent.

“Buying in bulk gives us a margin to pass savings on,” he said.

Mr Smith said it was easy for a customer to set themselves up with Cowra Gas.

“Give us a ring and we’ll set up an account over the phone and bring out bottles within a few days,” he said. 

“Most customers within Cowra are the next day but definitely within five working days and if people want to reorder they can send a text message or email, whatever’s convenient for the customer.
