Cowra High School's senior boys basketball side has grind out a tough victory over rivals Camden High School in day three of the Robert Montgomery Shield on Friday.

Cowra held a slight advantage at the main break before Camden locked it up at 14-14 at three-quarter time.
Cowra skipped to an eight point lead by full-time while Camden failed to register any fourth-quarter points.
The result helped Cowra claw back on the overall point-score, but the two schools couldn't be separated locked at 30-30 after three days of competition.
Because Camden held the Shield, the visitors retained it for a further 12 months.
