The Cowra branch of the Heart Support Australia group recently donated $1921 to the Cowra Hospital Auxiliary for the purchase of new equipment.

Anne Reeves member of the Cowra Hospital Auxiliary thanked the Cowra branch of the Heart Support Australia for the donation.
“We appreciate that the Heart Support Australia Cowra branch has given a donation to us,” she said.
“We don’t ask for donations people just donate to us.
“We have ordered the items the heart support group wanted and we’d just like to say thank you very much because we appreciate what anybody does for us.
“We’ve also had a Mothers Day raffle which was one by Norm Egan and we have our street stall in a weeks time and we hope people come along and support us,” she said.
President of the Cowra Branch, Bob Lewis, said the money came from an accumulation of funds over the years.
The Cowra branch of the Heart Support Australia group asked for a bariatric wheelchair and four height adjustable chairs for the physiotherapy waiting room to be bought in their name.
The equipment will be used by Cardiac and other patients.
The Heart Support Group is a free volunteer service that provides support, information and encouragement to assist people with a heart condition to adopt and maintain a positive lifestyle.
The group also provides assistance with rehabilitation programs and support for families.
The Heart Support Group meets in the Senior Citizens Rooms every third Monday of the month, not only people with heart disease but anyone that is interested is most welcome to attend 9.30am for a 10am start.
