Two second-half goals proved the difference at Edgell Park, the match ending 4-2 in favour of the Eagles over Panorama Black after being locked at 2-all at the break.
Toby Baker continued his unbelievable goal scoring form this season, scoring goals on the either side of the half while Olly Carter and Matt Reed got their names on the scorecard as well.
Coach Adam Gambrill said he wasn’t too worried about the 2-all halftime score, and turns his attention to the coming weeks with games against Panorama Red and CSU White looming.
“Two big games for us coming up. The next two should be telling in terms of where we are in the competition,” Adam Gambrill said.
