This weekend is our first big footy event for the Cowra Junior Magpies.
On Saturday we are hosting all the players at home from the under 6s to the under 16s. There will be some fantastic talent on display in all ages, with 15 of our under 13s to under 16s players being Group 10 players.
Our little under 6s will be taking the field for the first time, how cute. Then to contrast that, you can watch many a hit up with the big boys.

On Sunday, April 2 we will be hosting the very first Group 10 Girls’ Junior League Tag Carnival.
We have 18 teams from the under 12s, under 14s and under 16s coming from across the central west to play for the inaugural title.
The girls will look awesome in their new black, white and hot pink. Not to forget how fast they will look as they show off their league tag skills.
Round 1, Saturday April 1-
Mini field-
9am U8 Bears v Colts, 9.20am U8 Wallabies v Bears, 9.40am U8 Colts v Wallabies, 10am U6 Kangaroos v Wallabies, 10.40am U6 Colts v Bears.
Modified field-
9am U10 Bears v Kangaroos, 9.30am U10 Wallabies v Bears, 10am U10 Kangaroos v Wallabies.
Main field-
9am U12 Bears v Kangaroos, 9.30am U12 Wallabies v Bears, 10am U12 Kangaroos v Wallabies, 11am U13s, 12pm U14s, 1pm U15s, 2pm U16s.
Canteen duty-
9-9.30am U10 Wallabies, 9.30-10am U10 Kangaroos, 10am-10.30am U10 Bears, 10.30-11am U12 Wallabies, 11am-12pm U14s, 12pm-1pm U13s, 1pm-2pm U16s, 2pm-3pm U15s.
Sunday, April 1-
The Group 10 Girls’ League Tag competition kicks off at 9am. Please come down to support the girls in the very first games.
The canteen will be in full operation on both days. What a treat for the Cowra Community. Two full days of footy in perfect conditions.
