The idea for the exhibit was made by the Berowra Uniting Church Sunday School as a way to raise funds for a Compassion Child.
Since then the exhibition had grown and the group were keen to bring the exhibition to rural areas.
Cowra event organizer, Kathryn Tindall, said it was a great success.
“It was a really wonderful day, we had a great number of people come in from the community,” she said.
“We had a number of themes and a lot of entries into the display.”
“It was a great interactive event, all the little ones were able to sit and play which kept them occupied and meant their parents could look at the display.”
“We had all ages attend from one to 90, it was great for the community, there were lots of fathers with their children enjoying the Lego.”
“I think a lot of people spent more time then they thought they would looking at the display.”
“A big thanks to the local community, we hope they enjoyed themselves and we’d love to do it again in the future,’ she said.
Funds raised on the day will go towards Andrew Morrison, the Scripture teacher at the Cowra High School.
