The kids of Cowra proved there is no better way to cool down than a waterslide with more than 140 people heading along to Cowra Nature Based Adventure Playground on Sunday morning.

Touted as some “old-fashioned fun”, the waterslide proved a huge success with children and parents alike, who took advantage of a beautiful Sunday morning.
The day featured two slides, a 20 metre one for children under eight years of age and a 30 metre one for the bigger kids.
Gold coin donations on the day resulted in the Cowra Nature Based Adventure Playground committee raising more than $350, which will go towards awareness and plans for the future of the playground.
