In a Sydney Morning Herald analysis, Nationals’ electoratesat both a Federal and State level – including those covering Cowra, Orange, Bathurst and Dubbo – were among the big winners in the first years of Gonski funding.
Since the Gonski needs-based funding began in 2014, the federal seat of Riverina, of which Cowra is a part received $15.4 million in funding.
When it came to state funding levels, the seat of Cootamundra recieved $9 million in funding.
Cowra High received $665,773, Cowra Public $598,737, Mulyan $484,876, Holmwood $53,609, Holman Place $48,531 and Wyangala Dam $11,628.
