Around 5.45am on January 4, a 20 year-old Cowra man was arrested in relation to a number of offences.The offences included a break and enter that occurred earlier in the evening and other domestic offences. The man appeared before Orange Local Court for a bail application.

Around 12.20pm on December 28 a 39 year-old Cowra male tested positive to a Random Drug Test on Lynch Street.
Malicious damage
Police report an act of malicious damage to a vehicle located on Bourke Street.
The vehicle was damaged shortly after midnight on New Year’s Day.
Break and enter
Between 9am on December 24 and 9pm on December 31 police report a break and enter at a Lyall Street residence.
An iPod was stolen from the home and a vehicle parked at the residence was damaged.

Around 1am on December 31 police stopped a 45 year-old male on the Darbys Falls Road for the purpose of a Random Drug Test.
The man returned a positive reading, police are currently awaiting the result of further testing.
Court attendance notice
A 40 year-old Wagga man was issued with a court attendance notice after being detected driving whilst disqualified around 9.30am on December 18 on the Grenfell Road.
Wyangala boating accident
Police report a serious boating accident occurred on Wyangala Dam around 7pm on December 30.
A male person suffered life threatening injuries and was airlifted to Sydney for treatment.
The matter is currently under investigation by Canobolas investigators and a forensic examination of the vessel will occur.

Between 2pm on December 24 and 6pm on December 26, police report a break and enter at a Wollowra Street residence.
Unknown persons have entered the residence and stolen Christmas presents from the lounge room area.

Between 2pm and 2.40pm on December 24 police report a break and enter at a Taragala Street residence.
Unknown persons have entered the residence and stolen a laptop and a bag of clothing.

Possession of prohibited drug
Police report that at 4pm on December 23 at a service station on the Mid Western Highway a 20 year-old Genfell man was found to be in possession of a prohibited drug.
The man was issued with a Cannabis caution.
Break and enter
Police report two break and enters at a London Drive residence. The first on December 24 around 2.30pm in which mobile phones and women’s clothing were stolen.
The second on December 26 around 5.50am in which wallets, mobile phones, iPads and a Playstation were stolen.
