Racing at Gillman Speedway, South Australia on Wednesday, Kurtz collected five points while Dave Watt and Justin Sedgmen lead on 17.
Cowra is also represented by Kurtz’s brother Todd (five points) and youngster Matthew Gilmore who qualified as a reserve. The second round is at Mildura this Saturday night.
