Originally this show was scheduled for Saturday, October 22 however Australia's Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull wanted to book Darren for a Kids in Need charity concert on this date.
Not wishing to deprive the PM or Darren of the opportunity to share this concert, we acceded to Darren's request and have changed our date to Friday, October 21 at 8:00 pm.
Darren kicked off 2010 by performing to a sold-out concert hall at The Sydney Opera House in his highly acclaimed production Peace Train – The Cat Stevens Story.
Peace Train continued to inspire, playing to standing ovations and critical acclaim as it lapped the country throughout 2012, 2013 and 2014, playing every major theatre in Australia.
These two captivating albums from Cat Stevens possess an air of mystery and unforced whimsy, remarkably re-created live in their entirety by Darren Coggan.
Every track from the Cat, back to back.
Gentle, heart rending songs that spoke to a generation, to millions of people, who, like Cat himself, were on a journey.
With the release of ‘Tea For The Tillerman’ and ‘Teaser & The Firecat’, Cat Stevens demonstrated that he was very much in touch with his audience, along with the social attitudes and changes within modern culture of the time.
Relive the voice of a generation with songs the whole world sang along with including the timeless Moonshadow, Wild World, Peace Train, Where Do the Children Play, Father & Son, Morning Has Broken, and many more.
Tickets are $90 and includes a three course meal.
