Coach Mark Dixon labelled the coming weeks as hugely important particularly the next fortnight against the Bathurst Bushrangers sides.
“Especially against the top sides, psychologically it would give us an edge at the end of the year if they haven’t beaten us,” Dixon said.
Cowra receives a boost this Saturday against the Bushrangers Outlaws with the return of Frank Bright, along with Marc Hyland, who have both been sidelined with injury for more than a month.
Dixon said he expects to field a side close to full strength.
“Frank and Marc are back, plus the others who are playing consistently. Hopefully we stay injury free for the last six or seven weeks.”
Ahead of this weeks blockbuster with the first placed Outlaws, Dixon voiced his confidence in the Blues and their chance of threatening this year’s flag.
“We have all the elements. From what I’ve seen in any grade it takes a good mix of experience and enthusiasm and we have that,” he said.
