Her topic "My Life" was a personal account of her journey from a city girl to country wife and mother.
Jean Mary has been in the district for sixty four years and moved to Cowra twenty years ago after the death of her husband Tony.
Her talk included items on the depression and war years in Sydney, living with her loved aunt and uncle after the death of her parents and her school years.
Jean Mary attended university a rarity for women in those days.
Rowena Casey thanked Jean Mary presenting her with a bunch of Jill Allen's natives and two personally inscribed pens.
Many friends and family attended including her sons John (Bathurst) David and wives Helen and Ruth, Peter and Jenni Fagan and cousins Marianne Payten and Sally Delaney.
The monthly meeting followed chaired by President Jean Sandberg.

ACWW update: A big thank you to everyone who supported this organization on Wednesday evening. $100 was collected for this worthy cause. Plans are underway for local Women Walk the World on Sunday 27th April at Europa Park assembling at 10:30 AM. After the walk we will move onto Taste Buds for coffee and friendship. Anyone interested in joining us is most welcome, do come along. Tuesday 29th we will meet at the Pop Up shop at 10 AM acknowledging the actual time the world walk begins
